This can load only files mentioned in "3DFACE". If DXF file cannot be loaded, please confirm what information the software of the exporting side is exporting.
I cannot highly recommend the exchange in this format because it can hold only data of shape, for this is the format not only for CG but also for CAD originally.
As the format does not have the direction of faces, it is not guaranteed and sometimes needs to be mended.

This format was used by 3D studio for MS-DOS (3ds Max's antecedents).
The format is very old, and it contains triangle faces only. And a maximum number of vertices and faces are 65536. There are many restrictions, and it is not recommended to use currently.
