Rectangle / Rope

It selects or unselects vertices, lines, and faces within the area mousedragged by a mouse.

While mousedragging a mouse, you can select again with the shift key and partly unselect with the Ctrl key.

how to use

Rect Rope
Rectangle
It selects or unselects the rectangle area created from the point where the button is pressed and the point where the button is released.
Rope
It selects or unselects the area drawn by freehand.

When you press the [Rect] or the [Rope] button of [Edit option] group in command panel, you can select within a rectangle or freehand line by mousedragging a mouse while using [Select] command or [Move] command without [Rect] or [Rope] command.
